FRESHLY SQUEEZED v's NOT FROM CONCENTRATE - WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE?
 
  The more processing fruit juice undergoes, the more it loses taste, freshness and goodness. All fruit juice can generally be classified under three main categories - Freshly Squeezed, Not From Concentrate (NFC) and From Concentrate (FC). We often get asked what the difference is between a Not From Concentrate Juice and Freshly Squeezed Fruit Juice, well, here is a quick explaination. A Not From Concentrate juice will undergo several processes - it will be squeezed in the country of origin, pasteurised, frozen, shipped, re-pasteurised and packaged. Freshly Squeezed Juice is as it sounds - squeezed in the UK (ours in South Wales), lightly pasteurised to provide a workable shelf life and then bottled - it then must be consumed within 16 days.

  Love Smoothies was born out of a passion for making delicious fruit blended drink. The concept is simple, each variety is a carefully selected mix of frozen fruit which is blended with fruit juice or yoghurt to create a great tasting smoothie. As each box contains portioned bags of fruit, there is never any wastage. It is worth noting that often frozen fruit contains more goodness and flavour than fresh fruit because it is harvested at its peak. Many fresh fruit varieties are harvested before they reach their peak to extend their shelf life.
